Many of the things which just seem to accumulate around the house and yard are not only unsightly, but they can be hazardous.
Old refrigerators, freezers, and laundry equipment can be injurious and even life threatening to children and pets.
Junk cars on private property or in the street can attract nuisance activities to your area.
Even when the problem is not at the hazard level, poorly maintained property lowers values in a neighborhood and lowers standards and expectations further so things quickly get worse.
If an honest self-assessment of your property shows you that you have let things get a bit out-of-hand, why not help yourself and your neighbors by doing a spring cleaning.
If it seems that your neighborhood could use a lift, why not organize a neighborhood clean up party and help each other out. If your neighbor has let things go-a-bit too far, how about offering a word of encouragement and a couple hours of your time to help.
It could be an investment in friendship as well as in your property value. If these things just don't seem to help, please contact Code Enforcement at(509) 865-3111 or Email to Tim Smith.
He will be happy to consult and assist in resolving your problem.
