Administration
The Public Works Department is responsible for the planning, programming, construction, maintenance and operations of the city's water, sewer, refuse, cemetery, streets, and city facilities. The department has total operating, capital, debt service and reserve budgets of approximately $7 million, and about 13 FTE in the 2004 budget. Public Works is involved in providing public services and utilities and contributing to public health and safety.
